Cancellation & Refund Policy – Delhi Taxi Booking
We kindly request our customers to avoid last-minute cancellations wherever possible. Our drivers plan their day around confirmed bookings and often decline other trips. If your travel plans change, please try to inform us as early as possible. Early communication helps both our team and drivers manage schedules better.
This policy applies to all one-way, round-trip and local taxi bookings made with Delhi Taxi Booking.
Pickup Time Categories
For simplicity, pickup timings are divided as:
• Night Pickup: 12:00 AM – 3:59 AM
• Day Pickup: 4:00 AM – 11:59 PM
Day Pickup Cancellation (4:00 AM – 11:59 PM)
For day pickup bookings, the customer must inform us at least 1 hour before the scheduled pickup time.
In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund after deduction of minimal payment gateway or transaction charges.
Night Pickup Cancellation (12:00 AM – 3:59 AM)
For night pickup bookings, customers must inform us at least 12 hours in advance due to early vehicle and driver allocation.
• If full payment has been made, 70% of the total booking
amount will be refunded and 30% will be retained towards
driver allocation and operational costs.
• If only a booking advance has been paid, the advance amount is
non-refundable.
Change in Route or Travel Plan
If the customer requests a change in route, destination or travel plan, a revised fare will be shared based on the updated details. The revised fare must be accepted to continue the booking.
If the customer does not accept the revised fare and decides to cancel, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and refund (if any) will be processed as per the pickup time rules mentioned above.
Last-Minute Cancellation & No-Show
Cancellations made within the minimum notice period, or cases where the customer is unreachable, unavailable at pickup, or refuses to travel, will be treated as No-Show. No refund will be applicable in such cases.
Refund Processing Time
Eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Payment gateway or bank charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.
